Lauren fell in love with environmental storytelling at an early age as a ballet dancer. She received a BFA in Scenic Design from the Conservatory of Theatre Arts and Film at Purchase College, NY and started working as a Designer, Art Director and Asst. Art Director for Film and TV.
Her most recent feature film credits include 'Nightmare Cinema' (2018) a horror anthology, directed by Joe Dante, Mick Garris, David Slade, Ryuhei Kitamura, and Alejandro Brugues. 'Wildling' (2017), a dramatic thriller, directed by Fritz Böhm, produced by Maven Pictures, and starring Bel Powley and Liv Tyler. 'Public Disturbance' (2017) a comedy directed by Danny Lee and produced by Lionsgate. 'Domain' (2016) a Sci-Fi thriller, directed by Nate Atcheson and starring Britt Lower recently won her best Production Design at Other Worlds Austin 2016. 'Beyond Skyline' (2017) LA Unit, a alien Sci-Fi, directed by Liam O'Donnell, produced by Collin and Greg Strause, and starring Frank Grillo. Lauren designed 'Invisible', a Virtual Reality action series directed and produced by Doug Liman and 30 Ninjas.
Lauren has been based in Los Angeles for 6 years and works regularly as a local in New York. She is represented by the Gersh Agency and is a member of the Art Directors Guild 800 and USA 829.
